As an active member of the South Coast Sub Branch of the AHA, the Husky Pub has given direct support to:

Havenlee School
Havenlee School is a handicapped facility in Nowra. During 2003, the school was allocated additional teacher's aides above their entitlement.
Unfortunately, this extra staffing was with drawn I April 2004, meaning that the school had to desist its very successful hydrotherapy with AUSTSWIM instructors.
The Husky Pub approached the South Coast Sub Branch of the AHA to help with financing this program as it was considered a very worthwhile cause.
On 17th August 2004, the Sub Branch voted in favour of a donation of $2,000 that would mean the programme could continue for another six months and that the Sub Branch would review the funding again in another six months.
